You're 3-5 weeks from AP exam day. Spring break is the last big block of uninterrupted study time before the test. Here's how to use it.
The Spring Break Plan (1 Week)
- Day 1 (Saturday): Diagnostic + identify the 3 weakest units. Rest the evening.
- Day 2 (Sunday): Drill weak unit #1. 2 hours.
- Day 3 (Monday): Drill weak unit #2. Write 1 timed essay.
- Day 4 (Tuesday): Drill weak unit #3. 30 MCQs in timed mode.
- Day 5 (Wednesday): Full practice exam. Time it. Review every miss.
- Day 6 (Thursday): Focus on what the practice exam revealed.
- Day 7 (Friday): Light review. Cheat sheet. Rest. School resumes Monday.
Daily Time Commitment
2-3 hours/day, NOT 8. You'll retain more in 2 focused hours than 8 distracted ones. Spring break should also include rest.
What to Avoid
- Cramming new content. By spring break you can't learn 4 new units — you can only sharpen what you know.
- Stress-spirals. If practice scores aren't moving, switch to essay practice instead.
- Comparing yourself to your friends. Their study habits aren't yours.
