Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 20, 2026. This policy explains what AimFive collects, why we collect it, and the choices available to students and families.

Information We Collect

AimFive stores AP course progress, completed lessons, scores, streaks, preferences, and weak-question identifiers in your browser. You can practice locally without creating an account.

If you create an account, we collect the information you provide, such as your email address, display name, and age or grade-level information, and associate your account identifier with saved progress.

Accounts and Cloud Sync

Signed-in users can back up and synchronize progress through Supabase. Cloud records contain account and study-progress data needed to operate the service. Written drafts are not part of the progress backup.

AI Writing Grader and Tutor

When you submit writing or a tutor message, that content is sent to AimFive's server and processed by a third-party AI provider to return feedback. Do not submit sensitive personal information. AimFive does not use student drafts to train its own models.

Payments

Paid subscriptions and one-time purchases are processed by payment and subscription providers such as Stripe and RevenueCat. AimFive receives purchase and subscription status but does not store complete card or bank details.

Analytics and Error Reporting

AimFive uses product analytics and error reporting to understand page views, feature usage, failures, and performance. We do not show third-party ads or sell personal information. Anonymous analytics can be disabled from AimFive settings where that control is available, or through browser privacy tools.

Cookies and Local Storage

Essential local storage keeps progress, preferences, authentication, and the study experience working. Analytics providers may set measurement cookies when analytics is enabled.

Service Providers

We share only the information needed to operate AimFive with service providers including Supabase for accounts and cloud data, Stripe and RevenueCat for purchases, an AI provider for grader and tutor responses, Sentry for error reporting, Resend for requested email, and Google Analytics for web measurement.

Retention, Export, and Deletion

Account and cloud-progress data is kept while your account exists or as needed to provide the service. You can export or reset progress and request deletion of cloud data or your account. Local browser data remains on your device until you clear it.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, export of, or deletion of your personal information. Parents and guardians may make a request for a student. We honor applicable privacy rights regardless of where a user lives.

Children's Privacy

AimFive is intended for students age 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child under 13 submitted information so we can remove it. Students under 18 should review this policy with a parent or guardian.
