Whether you're behind or just want to use the 2 weeks well, here's how to maximize winter break for AP prep without ruining the holiday.
The 14-Day Catch-Up Plan
- Days 1-2: Rest. Actually rest. Sleep in. The catch-up starts Day 3.
- Days 3-4: Take a full AimFive diagnostic. See where you actually are.
- Days 5-9: Drill your 2 weakest units. 1 hour/day, focused.
- Days 10-11: Write 2 timed essays with rubric feedback (Pro or human grading).
- Days 12-13: Take a full practice exam. Review every miss.
- Day 14: Off. Watch a movie. School starts soon.
Don't Try to Do Everything
2 weeks isn't enough to learn an entire AP. It IS enough to identify your gaps and close the worst ones. Quality over quantity.
How to Not Burn Out
- Schedule study like real appointments. Stop when the appointment ends.
- Don't study on December 24-26 or January 1. Family + rest matter.
- One social/hobby activity per study day. Always.
