We say AimFive raises AP scores. If it doesn't raise yours, we refund what you paid. That's the whole guarantee, in plain English.
The Policy
If your final official AP exam score is lower than the AimFive predicted score you saw in the app the week before your exam, we will refund your AimFive Pro subscription in full — up to $X per AP exam covered.
How to Qualify
- Have an active AimFive Pro subscription for at least 30 days before your AP exam.
- Have a predicted AP score visible in the app within 7 days of your exam (the predictor needs enough practice data to be valid).
- Receive your official AP score from the College Board portal.
- Email refunds@aimfive.com within 60 days of score release with a screenshot or PDF of your official score report.
What We'll Refund
- Monthly subscribers: All months paid up to and including the month of your exam.
- Annual subscribers: Prorated based on time elapsed, up to the full annual amount.
- Multi-subject AP students: The guarantee applies per subject — if you scored higher in one and lower in another, we refund for the lower one.
What We Won't Do
- Ask you to jump through hoops. Submit the score report. We refund within 14 business days.
- Require an exit survey or retention call. Take the money, no friction.
- Cancel your account. You can keep using the free tier indefinitely after.
Edge Cases
- "No score" results (cancelled, no-show): Not covered. The guarantee requires an actual official AP score.
- Multiple-month gaps in usage: If you didn't use AimFive for 3+ consecutive months before your exam, the guarantee may be voided. We aren't going to refund subscriptions that funded servers you didn't use.
- Predicted score that wasn't visible: If you never accumulated enough practice to generate a predicted score, the guarantee can't apply. The predictor needs ~50 questions per subject to calibrate.
Why We Offer This
Most AP prep tools charge confidently with no skin in the game. We think that's backwards. If AimFive doesn't work for you, you shouldn't pay for it. The guarantee aligns our incentive (your real outcome) with what you actually want (a higher score). It's the contract version of "we mean it."
How Often Does Someone Claim This?
We'll publish that number in our annual State of AP report. Transparency about refund rates is the only way the guarantee stays meaningful.
